Podcast episode 2: Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) Syndrome and Myocarditis and COVID 19 Vaccines

In the latest episode of Heart HQ – a cardiology podcast, our cardiologists Dr Peter Larsen and Dr Stuart Butterly discuss Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome and Myocarditis.

WPW is a rare condition, caused by a problem with the heart’s electrical system, that can cause a fast and irregular heartbeat. Peter discusses a recent case of WPW that he detected at Heart HQ.

Myocarditis has been in the news lately as rare cases have been reported after the Pfizer or Moderna Covid-19 vaccines. Peter and Stuart discuss these cases and what they mean for those with existing heart conditions.
