At EONLife Wellness, a sister company to Heart HQ, we are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, highly organised Clinical Nurse to develop our multi-disciplinary Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to become full-time as the program grows.

Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse works as a key member of the team, and uses their experience and expertise to create and deliver a world-class cardiac rehabilitation program for our patients.

What You Will Do

• Create and develop our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
• Collaborate with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Multi-Disciplinary Team
• Treat patients who are suffering from, recovering from, or at risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
• Provide individual or group education sessions for patients
• Educate patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choices while being mindful of the patient’s emotional, cultural and physical requirements
• Monitor patients vital signs, such as heart rate, heart rhythm, respiratory rate, blood oxygen levels, and blood pressure.
• Counselling

• Provide positive outcomes, and create a caring environment for our patients.

Who You Are

• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience within Cardiac Care or Cardiac Rehabilitation
• Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent
• AHPRA registration
• Experience in Cardiology, essential
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship
• Demonstrated high-level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• High level of emotional intelligence and patient care.
• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Experience in clinical research, desirable
• Ability to report and analyse data and provide outcomes
