Peter is a clinical and interventional cardiologist with various special interests including coronary angioplasty and stenting, endovascular procedures and structural heart interventions.
He studied and trained in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast before moving to Boston, USA to complete a two year clinical and research Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Diagnosis and Intervention. Peter returned home to become Director of Cardiology at Sunshine Coast Hospital, before becoming a founding partner and managing director of our practice.
His vision is firmly fixed on working with his colleagues to cement Heart HQ’s reputation as a world-class heart care team. When he’s not performing transcatheter aortic valve implants, he enjoys spending time with his four daughters, playing tennis, reading and travel. One day he’s going to learn the piano again.
