September 29th is World Heart Day.
On this day, Heart HQ is urging people to focus on their heart health – and decided to draw attention to this by launching a podcast on the topic!
Heart HQ – A Cardiology Podcast is a fortnightly podcast hosted by two of our cardiologists, Dr Peter Larsen and Dr Stuart Butterly.
In each episode they will discuss trending topics, as well as interesting cases that present themselves at Heart HQ.
In their very first episode, officially launched on World Heart Day, they talk about Left Atrial Myxoma, a rare condition that can have serious implications for the patient.
They also kick off their ‘5 things to remember’ segment with Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring – including the benefits of this test and when to use it.
You can listen to the podcast on Spotify by clicking here.
